Our vision is to create a vibrant City Sanctuary for Dunedin where wildlife thrives, and communities are leading city-wide predator control.

We want to see Dunedin become the first city to normalise community-led, city-wide predator control in backyards and public reserves

City Sanctuary is one of three Predator Free Dunedin projects and is being delivered by Dunedin City Council.

Our small team is based at Verger's Cottage along with Predator Free Dunedin, the Halo Project, and the Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Group.
